As a landscape photographer I am most interested in recording astronomy events as part of a view including earth. The fascinating  part was that totality occurred shortly after sunset, low on the horizon. This allowed me to capture it and tie it into the landscape on Mauna Kea, in this case one of my favorite trees. The moon,  bright orange/red during the totality of the eclipse nearly one hour, with a strong 3D look to it. It was breathtaking and an event I won't soon forget.
